When lockdown hit in March 2020 my thoughts were “ooh a nice wee couple of weeks break to reset and get organised” ha ha bloody ha - roll on 15 months and only now there is the slightest glimmer of returning to a life we used to know
BUT is it a return to the life we used to know? In this little business the answer is a resounding NO and this wee story is being written today to give you access to the huge big mark that lockdown left and how we are adapting, growing and striving to bring you the absolute best in the world of SKINCARE
In The Line of Beauty has changed in many ways over the last 15 months, most noticeably the range of skincare on the shelves has grown incredibly due to the shift (restrictions) in the services we have been able to offer. Skincare consultations online became popular and the more we did the more we realised the need to bring more brands to solve your skin solutions and we have quickly become perfect little MATCHMAKERS, hooking your skin up with its ideal skincare products. Our job is to serve you well and give you access to effective and educated skincare choices which is proving difficult when the shop currently doubles up as a treatment room meaning the door is locked. A lot.
Soooooo - what we gonna do? WE ARE GIVING YOU 38 DOCK STREET - that is what we’re gonna do - it will be yours 6 days a week - to drop in - to browse (we don’t pounce) - to ask questions - to learn more about the skincare that works for you - to treat yourself - to gain access to cult and cutting edge skincare brands - to indulge - to buy gifts for your special people
What will there be?
There will be shelves full of the most effective skincare available - Medik8, CeraVe, Pestle&Mortar, Dr Jart, Altruist, Heliocare, Caudalie, Comfort Zone, Skin Regimen, Neostrata and many more - there will be new products weekly as we keep up to date with current upgrades - we will have TRY ME TABLES for you to skoosh, test, smell and enjoy learning more about the lotions and potions - there will be special offers, gifts with purchase (watch our social media for updates on the gifts) there will be a loyalty scheme and there will be featured product tables with all the knowledge you need to make informed skincare choices - (make up coming soon too) - basically we will be bringing your very own Dundee sized Sephora
